Journal Entry #7: TFCF’s Partnership with Autodesk + looking back and beyond -
Looking back at the last few weeks and ahead into the next few weeks — we have some exciting updates to share.
TFCF X Autodesk
We officially announced our partnership with Autodesk, the leading software development company in the construction industry. Their tools, software, and industry leading technology will allow us to help deliver accessible, quality designs at scale. Together, we can develop innovative disaster recovery solutions that prioritize affordability and scalability without sacrificing sustainability, resiliency, and local architectural character.
“This partnership is helping turn our vision into reality at a time when families can’t afford to wait,” said Alex Athenson, co-founder of The Foothill Catalog Foundation. “With Autodesk’s established role as a Design and Make leader and their invaluable resources, we’re making sustainable, regionally sensitive home designs more accessible—and creating a pathway for faster, more resilient recovery for communities that need it most.”

A look back at the past few weeks…
We’ve been busy as we move forward with the initial Catalog Homes and prepare them for permit submittal. We’ll have an announcement soon featuring the first wave of home designs and the designers behind them.
At the same time, we’re reaching out to builders to explore opportunities for partnership. If you are a builder and would like to learn more, contact us.
You may have also seen our team members around at various events, and we want to thank the Altadena Rotary, DENA Home Market organizers, and our Altadena Revealed partners for making another month of wonderful community events possible.

The past week has been difficult for our City, which has already endured so much. But even in the darkest moments, there has always been light - in the hope, strength, and unity of a community that stands together. We hope that’s what we can hold onto, both during this rebuilding process and well beyond.
Until Next Time,
The Foothill Catalog
