La Paz

La Paz is an homage to the Spanish Colonial revival cottages that dotted the Los Angeles landscape in the early 20th century. Simple stucco walls, terracotta tile accents, and a rustic porch capture the essence of those Mediterranean style buildings. The two porches create transitional space between the home interior and the property outside. The floor plan is bisected into two wings, creating a clear delineation between common space and private rooms. The open concept layout is perfect for entertaining and promotes cross-ventilation.
